Family Partner Certificate Program

We are happy to announce that Child and Family Partners has launched its NEW and IMPROVED Family Partner Certificate Program!

Drawing insights from over 1,000 participants nationwide, including 500+ graduates from California, they have enhanced their program to provide even greater breadth and depth of information. But that’s not all – perhaps the most significant change is the involvement of current family partners who are

graduates of the program, offering invaluable perspectives on current family partnership processes and practices!

The Child and Family Partners Certificate Program for family partners meets the requirements of the Head Start Program Performance Standards 1302.91(e)(7) for staff who work directly with families on the family partnerships process.

Who should attend: Family service workers, home visitors, family advocates, family community engagement managers, and similar roles.

What to expect from the updated program

  • Expanded Curriculum: The number of assignments has increased from 50 to 80, covering essential topics such as family assessment, self-care, communication skills, data utilization, engaging fathers, and comprehensive coverage of the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
  • Expert-Led Sessions: The program is now co-taught by program graduates from across the nation, who will lead weekly, online live sessions to share their insights, successes, and challenges as professional family partners.
